future baby muraski

Oh yea, so I had fun at work making these for some co-workers and their sig others. Of course I had to make one for Mike and I.
May I present a freakish rendition of what our future child could possibly look like...minus those hideous braids.

So FUNNY!

RIP blogs

I decided that I am over this blogging business... why blog when you have facebook? I end up loading all the same pictures plus I have to actually keep up with everyone and write at least a paragraph per entry...and I am not that creative. This is why I don't even write in a journal, I bore myself!
AND since we never take pics of anything, I had to borrow my BF's camera b/c of course we forgot ours AGAIN! We went to California to visit my family for an extended weekend which was great because we got to meet up with Jen my SIL (sister in law, in SF for a conference) for lunch, then we headed to the Bears/49ers game, which was a blast! Good thing my team won otherwise I may be chirping a different tune. Friday Mike made a trip to LA for a little interview and a nice day to himself...in a car, while my mom and I were busy getting facials from Tricia at her new salon! What a treat! Saturday I stayed busy with Kelly doing some wedding dress shopping, I think it was somewhat successful and am so thankful I don't have to go through that again!Good luck Kell!! And of course Sunday we did a little church, a lot of eating & visiting with family. Here's the proof... of the football game, we didn't have a camera for anything else. Don't worry that you can't even see my face and my cute 49ers t-shirt(it was freezing, gotta love The Stick).

A Whole Lotta Nothin....

Here is Mikey all drugged up post surgery, it was much more invasive than we thought, but he's a trooper!

Baby Emma and us on Halloween, we forgot our camera when we went out with friends so I made him take a picture with me before bed...hey it's our first Halloween married!
Mrs. Kelly Youngs wedding...

Mikey and I at the IF temple for Mrs. Kelly Youngs wedding

Laurin and I at the Hogle Zoo- still act like we're 13...hey at least I'm not a mom to 3!

Full Moon Lift Ride @ Sundance (below)

So not much has happend in the past couple months, Mike ripped his peck muscle and had to have surgery to re-attach it(notice the pictures of him drugged up!), we traveled to Idaho for my old roomie's wedding, we went to Sundance for the "full moon lift ride" (which was cool, that's not a light behind my awkward picture, thats the moon!), I got to visit Kimmie Skimmie (not pictured, forgot camera in the car) and of course Halloween (shout out to baby Emma, newborn to our lovely neighbors/friends).

I am by far the worst picture taker ever so here is a snapshot of our "muraski moments" this past couple months....

First Weekend of Fall

Friday night Miss Jen celebrated her pre birthday festivities with us girls at Cucina Toscana, one of the yummiest restuarants in the SLC. After FINALLY getting sat at 9:30 (with 8:00 reservations!) we enjoyed a nice girls only italian dinner. However, it felt like an outer body experience due to working 60 hours that week, Friday nights and I don't get along very well. Don't mind my hair, I was on day 2.5... ya know.
Happy Birthday Jen! We love You!
Mike and I can't find our camera, which is a bummer because Saturday night we hung out with Adam, Laurin and their cute 3 kids! We went to pizza then bowling...sort of, me and my A.D.D kicked in so by the third frame I had Mike bowl for me which definitely helped my average! Holy Crap I suck so bad! And to top the night off we went to The Cheesecake Factory for some delicious dessert, which didn't include any cheesecake, thank heaven.

A good book should leave you... slightly exhausted at the end. You live several lives while reading it. ~William Styron

I just finished this book, which was AWESOME! I highly recommend it...

Now I am on to The Beekeepers Apprentice.... which has been great so far, thanks Tanisha for bringing me back to reading! I had some bad picks this year which left me closing the book halfway through, a first for me. Now I am hooked to reading again after finishing These is my Words...I missed how it can take you away from things for a while...(p.s.I am completely happy, I don't necessarily need to be "taken away" but its fun none the less!)

Miracle Whip sucks

So Mike accidentally bought Miracle Whip rather than my usual light Mayo...one word...disgusting!

let the blogging begin

So I thought I would start a blog A. if you can't beat 'em...join 'em. B. all our family lives at least a state away and C. I have looked at so many friends blogs why shouldn't they look at mine?
Kids or not... let the blogging begin! Ok so I am sure it will be more sparse, and not as interesting, owell.

Mike and I were married in the Oakland Temple on June 20th, 2009. It was a perfect day to get married and spend the day with friends and family! Then we were off to Costa Rica! Here are some pictures of our awesome honeymoon!

I am so blessed to have married the most amazing, funny, silly and most patient man!I mean really... you have to be patient to be married to me for eternity! He has already taught me SO much in just hmmmm 44 days of marriage.
