The little dude is walking, and I've realized I'm one of those parents who prefer walking to crawling. Although crawling is so cute and short lived. Don't mind the white trashness of these photos, he happend to start walking half naked about to put his jammies on.

Summer '11

Well its been a long while since I blogged so here is a blast of photos to depict our crazy summer! Of course, it's still me so not many photos. Plus we lost our camera...we think somewhere in Missouri?

The week after we were off to Branson, Missouri for our inagural Muraski Reunion!

The Arch... it was so dreadfully hot and humid the last couple days in St. Louis! Oh man, I thought I was going to die. But it was so cool to be on the Mississippi River, I couldn't help but think of Tom Sawyer...

The week after that we headed to San Diego for my cousins wedding, it was lovely and fun to hang with everyone! The beautiful bride, Brielle.

Easter morning

The little man scored on Easter, no big surprise since he is the one and only. But what was a surprise was how much he enjoyed it all! I couldn't believe my baby is big enough to pull his toys out of his Easter basket and love every minute of it!



Can't wait until next year...

Easter Week

This week Kelly and I took Cy to see the Easter bunny. We were cruising the mall and noticed there was no line; unlike Christmas where it was a 3 hour wait! We decided to take advantage of the moment. I don't think Cy was prepared to be thrown on a big white furry bunny's lap. He sat for a second, looked around confused then looked up at our furry friend wondering where the heck he was! It was sooo funny. We captured it with our cell. The real photos were pretty boring. He just stared at the camera with absolutely zero expression on his face.



This week he has also learned to start taking on some new adventures in his crib,this is how I found him today. I think it's time to lower the mattress.

six months!

Today is Cy's half birthday! He is 6 months and I just CAN'T BELIEVE IT! It seems like just yesterday when I was waddling into Baby Gap looking at all the 6-12 months clothes thinking it was SO far away!
I love this little guy more than I thought possible. Everyday he is learning something new, getting into more and plain just keeping me on my toes!






We had a little "photo shoot" in his room this morning in honor of his 6 months on this great big Earth, he is such a HAM...muah!

I have a satisfied little boy this week, that's right he started rice cereal and is LOVING IT! If he had it his way he would bag the spoon and lick the whole bowl. Several dive bomb attempts were made to the bowl, guess we need to work on some table manners!

Since we missed the boat on newborn pictures, we (when I say "we" I mean "I")decided to get them done at 3.5 months...I am so conventional, I know. I think they turned out pretty cute since he wasn't in the "I don't mind if you stick me in a basket all curled up hanging from the ceiling, I'll just sleep through it phase" or sitting up on his own. Here is a peek.

California!

We decided to up and move to California a couple weeks ago. We loved our time in Utah but felt like we really needed to be by family especially with a new baby.

It was a whirlwind to try to move out by the end of the month (Mike's idea). We barely made it, well I made it just fine on my two hour flight...Mike barely made it. I worked up until the day Cy, my mom and I flew out leaving most of the packing to Mike. After his 18 hour drive with a U Haul and packing a lot in a little storage unit we are somewhat settled and LOVING IT!
The weather has be amazing since we've been here; I thought for sure it would rain our first 30 days in "sunny California" but luckily I was wrong. We have kept busy spending time with family and friends and getting outside as much as possible! Cy is sleeping a ton after his long days so I am thankful for that! I must say we miss our Utah friends a ton and hope we will actually keep in touch and not just say so...
