Lets Roll!

We made our most important purchase recently… THE STROLLER! I made Mike pose for a picture with it (doesn’t he look happy?). I took this task very seriously, almost as serious as buying a car. After all it is, in a way, a car for baby boy to ride in and as a driver of this car I wanted to make sure it had maneuverability, a hand brake (so I wouldn’t scuff up my shoes), big wheels and an extendable handle for us taller folks. After many many weeks of reading reviews, pushing floor samples and creating/comparing spreadsheets (yes I am that crazy)and discussions w/ experienced moms we decided to buy this Baby Jogger- City Select Edition and this is why:

10.It’s good for tall people (the handle isn't extended in this picture)
9.It has big non deflate able wheels, and front wheels that lock for the dirt and grass
8.It has an attachment for another kid
7.It has 16 settings, yup 16! You can go here to check out all 16
6.The seat faces the “driver” when the babes are little & actually want to look at you then they can turn to face the front once their sick of your face & realize there are cooler things in this world.
5.You can pull out the seat and click the car seat in the frame
4.It turns on a dime
3.It’s easy to collapse
2.It has an attachment for another kid
1.Did I mention it has an attachment for another kid?!!!! Way to plan ahead, I know.

I really really want a BOB jogging stroller too so I am planning on coming home with that one day when the boy is about 6 months and the snow has melted after this winter….Mike just doesn’t know it yet.

If you don’t agree w/ this purchase please do not comment, I will lose sleep wondering if I made the wrong decision…it’s really that bad.

things that start with a Mmmm

I broke down and bought a pair of these...

I really really tried to hold out but the comfort level was slipping by 3:00 at my office; so my bf and mom MADE me try them on AND to my surprise they were actually cute! And oh so COMFY! New milestone in life...HELLO MATERNITY PANTS!

We had a great weekend in San Jo, of course no documentation cuz we forgot our camera, AGAIN! (I promise once the kid comes I will be better). Perfect weather, great company and good shopping makes for a great Memorial Weekend!

Last week we found out we're having a BOY! We are totally stoked! He is quite the mover from what the ultrasound tech said, but I haven't felt a thing?

future baby muraski

Oh yea, so I had fun at work making these for some co-workers and their sig others. Of course I had to make one for Mike and I.
May I present a freakish rendition of what our future child could possibly look like...minus those hideous braids.

So FUNNY!

RIP blogs

I decided that I am over this blogging business... why blog when you have facebook? I end up loading all the same pictures plus I have to actually keep up with everyone and write at least a paragraph per entry...and I am not that creative. This is why I don't even write in a journal, I bore myself!
AND since we never take pics of anything, I had to borrow my BF's camera b/c of course we forgot ours AGAIN! We went to California to visit my family for an extended weekend which was great because we got to meet up with Jen my SIL (sister in law, in SF for a conference) for lunch, then we headed to the Bears/49ers game, which was a blast! Good thing my team won otherwise I may be chirping a different tune. Friday Mike made a trip to LA for a little interview and a nice day to himself...in a car, while my mom and I were busy getting facials from Tricia at her new salon! What a treat! Saturday I stayed busy with Kelly doing some wedding dress shopping, I think it was somewhat successful and am so thankful I don't have to go through that again!Good luck Kell!! And of course Sunday we did a little church, a lot of eating & visiting with family. Here's the proof... of the football game, we didn't have a camera for anything else. Don't worry that you can't even see my face and my cute 49ers t-shirt(it was freezing, gotta love The Stick).

A Whole Lotta Nothin....

Here is Mikey all drugged up post surgery, it was much more invasive than we thought, but he's a trooper!

Baby Emma and us on Halloween, we forgot our camera when we went out with friends so I made him take a picture with me before bed...hey it's our first Halloween married!
Mrs. Kelly Youngs wedding...

Mikey and I at the IF temple for Mrs. Kelly Youngs wedding

Laurin and I at the Hogle Zoo- still act like we're 13...hey at least I'm not a mom to 3!

Full Moon Lift Ride @ Sundance (below)

So not much has happend in the past couple months, Mike ripped his peck muscle and had to have surgery to re-attach it(notice the pictures of him drugged up!), we traveled to Idaho for my old roomie's wedding, we went to Sundance for the "full moon lift ride" (which was cool, that's not a light behind my awkward picture, thats the moon!), I got to visit Kimmie Skimmie (not pictured, forgot camera in the car) and of course Halloween (shout out to baby Emma, newborn to our lovely neighbors/friends).

I am by far the worst picture taker ever so here is a snapshot of our "muraski moments" this past couple months....
